Who has time to read a fashion blog where all you do is scroll, not this Diamond. I'm too busy trying to shine, thank you. See this week's suggestions below!
*Tip: when thrift shopping, always look at the tags. Look for high end brands (White House Black Market, Gap, Banana Republic, etc.)- I've found some of my best stuff that way.
*Tip II: always shop on clearance or the sale racks, don't even tempt yourself with the full price stuff.
Shoes: Valentine's Day gift (DSW: $25). Tip III: ask for bigger expenditure items or better quality items for gifts. Then you can look fabulous and they will last you the whole year.
Tights: Wal-Mart: $5
Skirt: Beautiful Lives: $5
Belt: Free, came with a shirt I bought (a long time ago)
White Button Up: Wal-Mart: $7
Jacket: White House Black Market: $30 (this outfit will work just fine w/o the jacket).
Yea, yea, I know. But, have you seen some of their other stuff? Yikes, expensive. It is good quality and will last you forever, but be careful with the tags- it may be dry clean only. Fyi, this jacket is going on 3 yrs strong though. Tip IV: If you're looking to update your wardrobe or change careers, set a goal. When I worked in a factory, I told myself I was going to budget $35/month for one, brand new piece of office clothing. That way, by the time I got my office job, my wardrobe would be ready to go and I wouldn't have to drop $300 all at once!
Slip (always wear one- stuff made now is so thin!) & Undershirt were bought at Wal-Mart.
Smile: Free, your attitude is what you make it and most often, it's the only thing you have control over.
Happy Wednesday all!
